Precise wavelength measurement in physics lessons

Two-Colour Laser

With the Two-Colour Laser, you can bring exciting physical phenomena directly into your clasroom. Switchable between red and green laser light, the device is ideal for investigating interference and determining wavelengths on the optical grating.

Flexible and safe in physics lessons
The laser is specially designed for student experiments and is suitable for use in secondary schools. Experiments on interference and the determination of wavelengths can be optimally investigated in class using an optical grating.

Advantages in the classroom

  • Switchable between red and green laser light
  • Operates with batteries or power supply (3 V DC)
  • Ideal for interference experiments and wavelength determination

Special feature: Safety tested according to RiSU
The Two-Colour Laser is classified as laser safety class I according to DIN EN 60825 and is therefore safe for use in the classroom.

  • Can be used by students without special protective measures (instruction on eye protection recommended before the experiment)
  • No marking or securing of the experiment area required
  • Use of magnifying glasses and converging lenses permitted

The Two-Colour Laser is particularly effective in combination with the Student Set Optics 2.0 – Wave Optics Supplement (item no. 47540).

The laser supports the understanding of complex optical relationships through direct application in experiments. Bring precision and curiosity to your physics lessons with the Two-Colour Laser – and let your students discover light in a whole new way.
