eXperiBot Explorer is the perfect learning robot for your classroom: super quick to assemble and with the contextual teaching materials for your students to use very quickly in lessons from grade 5.

 

eXperiBot Explorer impresses with its simplicity, step-by-step logic and reduction to the essentials for optimum classroom use. Arianna, our programmer in the accompanying comic, provides advice and tips. So really everyone can learn programming.

 

eXperiBot Smart Team (Item No.: 72631) offers additional curriculum-relevant teaching materials with concrete practical relevance. One initial scenario included is eXperiBot Smart Factory (Item No.: 71631). eXperiBot Smart Team contains all the robot components and teaching materials for the following scenarios: Smart Factory, Smart Recycling, and Smart Farm.

 

2024, the eXperiBot Smart Factory has been awarded the Comenius EduMedia Seal. 

2022, the eXperiBot learning robot was nominated for the Best European Learning Materials Award (BELMA).

  • The eXperiBot Blockly app from Cornelsen is the visual code editor that makes programming with the eXperiBot tangible.
  • Specially developed for school lessons, the app provides pupils in grades 5 up to the A-levels with an exciting introduction to the world of programming.
  • By dragging and dropping the graphical code blocks, programming can be learnt easily and intuitively.
  • Different learning levels allow a didactic reduction of the selection options to suit the respective level of knowledge of the pupils.
  • The simple choice of language encourages interdisciplinary teaching - programming can be carried out in German and English.
  • The programmes can be displayed in block view or in Python, i.e. the app is also suitable for use in higher classes.

    Let the eXperiBot explore your classroom.
    In order to do this, it must be able to avoid obstacles. The eXperiBot can detect obstacles with the Multisensor. When the sensor detects an obstacle, it should avoid it by reversing. Otherwise, it should keep travelling forwards.


  • 2 - Project Following lines

    In order to drive along predetermined routes, the eXperiBot is able to use the Multisensor to follow a line drawn on the ground. This can be created using black felt pen on light cardboard or dark tape on light flooring.


  • 3 - Project Interactive pet

    experiment "Project Interactive pet"

    Imagine if you could give commands to the eXperiBot with hand movements! This is called gesture control.
    You can use it to build a robot pet that always obeys you.
