Demo Set Mechanics

Fundamentals of solid-body mechanics for demonstration experiments

Grade level: Grades 7–10
Use: Demonstration experiments in physics lessons

The Demo Set Mechanics provides a comprehensive range of experimental materials for teaching the fundamental laws of solid-body mechanics. The topics covered range from weight force and the laws of levers to fixed and movable pulleys and block and tackle systems. Additional materials are provided for experiments on forces involved in plastic and elastic deformation.

The set is designed for demonstrating mechanics experiments in the classroom. Individual experiments can alternatively be presented by students.

Comprehensive teacher materials with experiment descriptions and editable worksheets support the preparation and implementation of the experiments.

The picture shows a red suitcase containing various experimental materials, including wheels, a scale and various metal parts. The suitcase is ideal for use in education and promotes hands-on learning through experiments.

The picture shows a collection of silver metal weights with hooks and blue plastic parts in a transparent box. Next to them, red round objects are visible, which are also kept in a transparent container.
The picture shows a red storage kit containing mechanical parts, including two red-painted rollers and several metal components, safely stored in a foam-padded interior. It is an experimental kit for the German educational system.
The picture shows an overview of individual parts from a demonstration equipment set for mechanics, including names and order numbers. It contains a list of components such as profile and tripod stands that are used for experimental purposes in education.
The picture shows an illustration of a spring force gauge and the associated materials on a page of a catalog for experimental supplies. The list describes the individual components and their quantity that are required for the construction.
The picture shows a mechanics experiment set, consisting of various metal components such as rods, springs and hooks, as well as a force gauge. Instructions and a red storage box can also be seen, which complete the set.
The picture shows a page from a manual for demonstration equipment for mechanics in education. It contains details of an experiment with fixed and loose pulleys and a list of materials.
The picture shows various experimental components, including metal rods, brackets, weights and strings, that can be used for mechanical experiments. The parts are carefully arranged and provide an overview of the experimental material for the classroom.
The image shows a massive lever with a beam balance and weights for conducting experiments. A hand holds a measuring device while the system is used to illustrate physical principles such as balance.
The picture shows an experimental device with a stand and several red rollers on which weights are placed in different positions. This apparatus is used to carry out physical experiments, for example to demonstrate forces and movements.
The picture shows a seesaw with two bowls attached to a horizontal beam that is supported on a central pivot point. In addition, there are colored discs in red and green on the table, which are probably used for determining weight or for experimentation.
