Green Energy House: All 3 Stations
From Solar Energy and Hydrogen to Motion
With the Green Energy House featuring all three stations, you can teach the principles of renewable energy in a clear and practical way. Students explore how solar energy can be converted into electrical, chemical, thermal and mechanical energy and how these forms of energy can be used.
Three themed stations are available:
- Solar Electricity: Convert solar energy into electrical energy and use it to power devices
- Solar Thermal Energy: Explore how solar heat can be used for heating and hot water
- Mobility: Discover electrolysis, hydrogen and fuel cell technology using a fuel cell car
The concept is suitable for cross-curricular use in physics, technology, art and computer science lessons. For example, a programmed solar tracker can be integrated into the experiments.
Please note: The house shown is not included and serves as an application example. It can be built individually or replaced with a suitable doll's house. Approximate dimensions of 60 × 50 × 50 cm (W × H × D) are recommended. A suitable light source comparable to sunlight is recommended for the experiments.
