Students kit Gear and drive models
Understanding Gears and Motion Transmission with Functional Models
Use: Student activities and demonstrations on gears, drive systems, force and motion transmission, and mechanical operating principles in technology lessons
With the Students kit Gear and drive models, students investigate the design and operating principles of important mechanical gears and drive systems using fully functional models. A total of 11 different models demonstrate and compare various methods of transmitting motion.
The set includes belt, chain, gear and rack-and-pinion drives, as well as worm, cam, crank and differential gears. The selection is complemented by a step mechanism, connecting rod drive and universal joint drive. This allows students to compare different technical solutions and understand their individual operating principles.
All models are fully functional and mounted on individual plastic bases. They can be used immediately without any additional accessories, making them suitable both for teacher demonstrations and independent student activities.
An illustrated guide explains the operating principles of each model and provides examples of technical applications. After use, the models can be stored safely and compactly in the sturdy plastic case with foam inserts.
