With the Germination Kit with Accessories, students can directly observe how plants germinate, grow and respond to different environmental conditions. The multipurpose container with germination inserts enables comparative investigations using different plants and growing conditions.

Students can investigate how plant parts respond to gravity, how plants grow towards light, climb and twine, and how they react to light and touch stimuli. The importance of water, soil, air, heat and light for plant growth can also be investigated experimentally.

The accessories include germination inserts, special absorbent sheets, a root separator, a dropper pipette, support rods and connecting cubes. These components allow a variety of experimental setups for investigating plant growth and carrying out long-term observations.

Without the germination inserts, the multipurpose container and its lid can also be used for keeping, observing or breeding small animals. An instruction booklet supports students and teachers in carrying out the experiments and observations.
